A-Parallax: measure your mix the way streaming will
✓ Mac installers signed and notarized by Apple
Integrated, range, momentary, short-term and true peak, to EBU R128. We checked it against the test signals the EBU itself publishes, and against six real mixes. Plus twelve views: six measure, six move with your music. Free, no account, no licence key: leave your email and download it straight away.

What it measures
Integrated (what loudness normalisation goes by), range (how much your mix moves), momentary (400 ms), short-term (3 s), true peak (what happens between samples, which is where clips show up after conversion) and PLR (how much headroom is left between peak and loudness). Pick a target from the menu: streaming −14, club −8, broadcast EBU R128 −23 or ATSC A/85 −24, and cinema −27. Or type your own.
Twelve views
Six measure: meters, spectrum, spectrogram, waveform, vectorscope with correlation and loudness history. The other six are 3D visuals (Constellation, Orbit, Aurora, Pulsar, Nebula and Attractor) that move with your music, not with a clock: the spin follows the brightness of the spectrum, the pushes follow the low-end hits, and in silence they stop.
And in rack mode, all at once
From the logo menu, Rack view turns it into a wide, low strip with every meter at once: the readouts, M, S and true peak, spectrum, spectrogram, waveform, vectorscope, loudness history and two visuals. Park it at the bottom of your screen, over your DAW. Click any screen to move to the next view.
Why trust it
Because we publish what we measure. These figures come from our own measurement bench.
The EBU Tech 3341 and 3342 signals, which come with the expected result written down. All thirty pass.
Integrated, range, momentary and short-term, against ffmpeg's ebur128 on six real mixes.
A meter doesn't touch the signal: it comes out bit for bit as it went in.
Of the budget, on the most expensive blocks. And it doesn't climb, even three hours in.
And what it doesn't do
There is no standalone version: it measures inside your DAW, not your system audio. No AAX yet, so no Pro Tools. A mono track is measured as dual mono, which is how it plays on two speakers (+3 dB over measuring a single channel), and there is no switch for it. In the top end, true peak reads up to 0.22 dB high: that comes from the filter the standard prescribes, and for a ceiling it is the safe side. The Mac installer is signed and notarized by Apple; the Windows one is not signed, so SmartScreen may warn you the first time: step by step in Download and installation.
